We’ve noticed something about the power dynamic of renting, particularly in Manhattan. Businesses have places like Yelp to let the world know about how great (or terrible) their service is. Professors have things like Rate My Professor, so students know who to take classes from. But there isn’t really a great space for renters to know if their landlord is particularly terrible or not. So, we have created this space to help level the playing field.

All of these stories are submitted to us, with minimal editing. We feel that it is best to allow tenants to share their grievances anonymously, so they will not have to fear retaliation. If you have a story you would like to have seen on the Landlord Wall of Shame, let us know here.
